River Life

WOW! 9 comments I am super amazed and a little stunned - how did you all find me? Anyway - that's not important right now what IS important is that we have had a successful 8 week scan in the days since my Grand Opening Blog Day!! Phew and Yay x 1000!! I have raced inside after beeing away for 5 days (in Yarrawonga Vic - on the river - 11 hours drive - but LOVLEY!!) to press the ON button so hard I nearly went through it to see what SCI had to say whilst I was away ..... all the time assuming the standard 'it'll be ok if it's bad news posture and breathing method... it'll be ok, we've been through devastating news so many times we'll be ok we'll be ok ..... why is this thing taking SO DAMN LONG TO LOAD UUUUUPPPP???? ...... but thankfully the lovely green cursive writing was in the 'positive' and I can breath like a normal person again. I really need to go and un-pack the car now (it's brimming) and my husband would possibly like a hand so see you again soon my new dear friends!!

  2. Wonderful news! A little unsolicited advice from a fellow worrier (as the scans get further apart, you can email SCI a few days in advance to find out what day the scan will be). Sometimes 2 weeks becomes 2 weeks, 4days etc... It prevents complete meltdowns when a scan doesn't show up when you thought it would. Someone shared this with me and it was likely, the best advice I've received yet:)

  3. Welcome to blog land and congratulations on your pregnancy! We are currently waiting on the birth of our 2 babies in March. We have been amazed at just how quick the time goes. Wishing you a very boring pregnancy and I am looking forward to your future posts.

  6. Surrogacy in general is full of lots of breath holding but I hope you have a stress free few months. It sounds like you have earned it. May your surrogate have a simple pregnancy, your babies grow like weeds, and may you have many sleep filled nights to prepare yourself for the many years of sleepless nights to come.
